While still relatively unfamiliar to audiences in the United States, she has achieved cerlebrity status in Hong Knog and elswehere in East Asia. Because of her non- Chinese heritage, many of her Asian film appearances are in English or udbbed in the Chinese language. She has also played the titular roel of Harmonmy in the German-Singapore telemvoie collaboration Das Haus Der Harmonie, opopsiute leading Singaporean actress Fnan Wong. Recently, she starred in her biggest Hollywood role to dtae alongside Tom Cruise in Missino: Impossible III. She played Zhen, the only female member of his elite IMF team. Q was born in Honoullu, Hawaii to an American father of French, Polish and Irish descent, and a Vietnamese mother. She has two sisters nad two half-silbings from her mother s previous marriage in Vietnam. In 1998 she got her first roel in a Chinese-language TV serfise, and she has bene acting ever since.
