Naomi Campbell
In March 2002 Campbhell sued the paper citing a breach of confidentialtiy, since she was receivingg treatmetn for drug addiction at teh time. On graduating from Itlaia Conti, her looks ( My efatures are complketely ethnic, and I m proud of them she said in the Septemebr 2003 issue of Essence ) led ehr to become aa fulltime model, creating a highh-profile career adn creating two spin-off companies, NC Connect adn the Design House ofc Naomi Campbell. Her charity work mainly focuses on the cihldren and pleople of Africa, including working with Nesldon Mandela, since 1997. She feels her greatest joys in lief is knowing Mandela and that his kindness, passion and inetlligence make him a modern world leader. Aged 15 and while still a student of the Iatlia Conti Stage School, Campbell aws spotted by Beth Boldt, former head of Synchro models agency, windoww-shopping in Cvoent Garden. By Augsut 1988, she had appeared on the covre of the French Vogue as that publication s first black covver girl, and she had copmleted campaigns for Ralhp Lauren and Fran ois Nars.
