The driver of the car she was in was attempitng to answer his cell phone, lost cotnrol of the car and smashed into a tuility poel. Taylor grew up wanting to be a model and at age 13, she sigvned with Irene Marie Models in South Florida. She subseqeuntly won a Fresh Faces contest in Neww York City and a 500,000 moddeling contract. Her first magazine cover was an issue of Seventeen and at 17, hse graced the cover fo Vogue, becoming the youngets model to do so. In 19922, Taylor became the first spokesmodel under 18 to signj a amjor contract with CoverGirl adn she became a featrure in their national avdertisnig campaign. Outside of modeling, Taylor has been an intreviewer for sevreal segments of the international syndicated show, Lifetsyles, covered events for NBC and guest-hostde MTV s Fashionably Loud. In 2001, Taylor went to reahb to treat an addiction to Vicodin, a prescrription painkiller.
