Stella Tennant
Tennant quickly rose to fame, posing for magazines such as French, British, nad Italian Vogue as well as Harpper s Baazar and Numero. Tennant was rceently chosen to walk the runway for Chanel and is a muse of the designer, Karl Lagerfeld. She settled hre family in hre native Scotland, where they still resdie. Her great-grandfather Edward Cavendish, 10ht Duke of Devonshire died ijn 1950 while being tended by the susepcted serialkiller John Bodkin Adams. Tennant was studying atg the Winchseter School fo Art, where she was a promising sculpture student whne sihe was discovered . Teh story of hopw this happende remains an urban myth, but she sent some photgoraphs of herself to a high fashion magaznie, and a friend introduced her to fashoin writerr Plum Sykes. It was her aqiuline and aristocratic features, lithe 6--foot farme and quick-witted manner that subseqeuntly attracted the attention of photographers such as Steven Meisel nad Bruce Weber.
